Based upon a proven system and established industry standards, Jake Dworski Fitness creates each fitness program to help you accomplish your goals. Each personally-designed program may include...

  • Warm-up. A proper warm-up raises blood flow to working muscles, increases tissue temperature, and promotes joint lubrication so muscles and joints are more pliable - all of which help avoid placing undue strain on muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
  • Strength Training. Developing strong muscles is important for everyone, not just for athletes and body builders. Well-conditioned muscles and joints help you perform better physically, assist you in maintaining good posture, and may help prevent injuries and chronic low-back pains.
  • Aerobic Excercise. Since there is no way to exercise the heart, lungs and blood vessels directly, you must engage in an activity that places a demand on the cardio-respiratory system. To achieve this, the exercise must utilize large muscle groups in the legs or the arms and shoulders; equally important, the exercise should also be maintained for sufficient period of time. The many benefits of aerobic exercise include a stronger heart, improved levels of blood cholesterol, lower blood pressure, reduced body fat, more energy and improved self-esteem.
  • Stretching. Stretching after your muscles are warm is vital to your training because it increases joint range of motion and muscle suppleness, and thus helps minimize risk of injury. It also makes you feel great!
  • Nutrition and Lifestyle Management. It doesn't make much sense to do all this exercise without attention to what you eat and how you live. Periodic sessions are provided to teach proper nutritional concepts and help create life-long habits for overall good health.

Although three sessions are strongly recommended, it is possible to start a workout schedule with less. In addition to this, you'll learn to perform additional aerobic sessions each week on your own. We will monitor your progress in order to inspire you and to periodically re-evaluate your program to keep you moving toward your goals.
